A trip to remember

My first trip to Malaysia. Started from Singapore at 10:30PM on Saturday. It was a perfect start to the trip. I got really excited when I saw the free goodie bags provided to all passengers in the bus, which had a bottle of mineral water, peanuts, strawberry cake n prawn cracker :D. The next one was the spacious seats in the bus. For the first time I was able to enjoy the leg room in a bus. Was chatting with my friends for a while n gazing the highways trying to sleep so that I cud enjoy the next day. Then came the imigration Singapore first n then Malaysia in a span of 15-20 mins. Finished it n got back to gazing the highways. I generally don’t sleep while I am traveling unless I am very tired. Was enjoying the roads which were beautifully lit up in the night. It was abt 6:30 in the morning when we reached Cameron highlands. As soon as I got down from the bus I started shivering only then to know that the temperature inside the ac bus was much higher than the outside temperature. Since it was early morning there were hardly anybody on the road to get the directions for the hotel. Then we all started to walk n then halted near a police station. thought it wud be a safer option to get the directions . So the first place we visited in Cameron Highlands was the police station ;) After we got the directions we started to walk up the hill n found the hotel. Kept the bags in the hotel freshened up n went out to have breakfast in a near by Indian food joint . We ordered tea,coffee n dosas.. It was total fun …. Then we went for a trek. It was really very pleasant inside in the forest ( if u call it a forest .. that’s how I have named it). There was jus enough space to walk through… it was slippery, there were place u had to climb, place where u had to slide…it was amazing. After trekking started to walk towards the bus stop to get back to the hotel. on the way we jus dropped inside the near by bee farm n then waited for a bus/taxi to get back to the hotel… but cudnt get one n then finally decided to ask for a lift. Got into a Martui van like vehicle with most of the space in the back of the car was empty ( I guess for carrying goods). The guy dropped us in the place from where we cud walk back to the hotel n he did not take money from us when we offered ( So it was a free ride). Then had lunch n went back to the hotel. The room was so cozy with lovely lamp shades. The best part was the rest room and the hot water. It was awesome. We all got freshened up n nobody wanted to get out of the room. It was so nice but we had to start, since we had come for that. Then went to cactus valley n then to the strawberry farm. The straweberry farm (I love strawberryyyy) was awesome . the food joint inside the farm had all kinds of strawberry dishes.. We ordered almost all of the diff dishes. It was a great start for the dinner :) n then roamed ard the near by market .then we packed dinner n went back to the hotel…. Cudnt resist from using the rest room in the hotel. So took bath again. Then we all were chatting, pulling each others leg …… finally decided to have the dinner…. Had to sleep cos we had to catch the bus the next day at 8 in the morning.
Day 1 was amazing …. Had a great time. Will continue abt the rest of the trip in a few more days… I guess this is already too many details…:)
